Provide technical and application support to colleagues and customers.
Work closely with the wider Engineering team on development and improvement projects.

At least 1 year's experience within a design or engineering office environment, either gained through employment or as part of further education.
Experience using CAD software, with SolidWorks preferred.
An understanding of electrical and diesel control systems.
Exposure to PLC programming, CODESYS and/or scripting would be advantageous.
Experience or knowledge of rotating machinery, steel fabrication or control systems would be beneficial.
Qualifications
A BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Product Design would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
Personal Attributes
We are looking for someone who:
Has a positive, flexible and proactive approach to their work.
Can work accurately to deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail.
Is comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Is keen to learn and develop their technical knowledge.
Takes an active interest in the wider engineering industry.
Is self-motivated, curious and willing to investigate and solve problems.
Location & Travel
The role is site-based in Hadleigh, Suffolk.
Occasional travel may be required throughout the UK and internationally to visit customers and attend exhibitions. Candidates will therefore require a valid UK driving licence and passport.
This version makes it sound much more like an actual engineering vacancy rather than an internal HR form, while staying faithful to what Pioneer Pump have supplied.
